A Private 4-Day Healing Retreat
Grief doesn't always begin with death.
Sometimes we grieve a relationship, a role we once held, years spent caring for someone we love, a future we thought we would have—or even the person we used to be.
This private one-to-one retreat offers you the time and space.
Massachusetts | Now Booking Fall 2026
Private retreats are currently offered in Worcester, Massachusetts, with comfortable hotel accommodations arranged as part of your retreat package.
Florida | Beginning January 2027
Private retreats return to South Florida for the winter season.
You have been holding everything together for everyone else, and you're tired.
You experienced a loss, but life kept moving before you had time to understand what it did to you.
A relationship ended—even one you know needed to end—and you're surprised by how much you're grieving.
You've spent years caring for someone else and now aren't quite sure who you are without that role.
Or perhaps nothing dramatic happened recently. You simply know that there are losses you never really had the space to process.
You don't have to arrive knowing exactly what needs healing.
Sometimes that's part of what we discover together.

Grief can follow the death of someone we love, but it can also appear after a relationship ends, a long period of caregiving, a betrayal, retirement, a major life transition, or the loss of a future we thought we were going to have.
Sometimes grief is recent. Sometimes it has been carried quietly for years.
And sometimes a new loss brings older, unfinished grief back to the surface.
This retreat isn't about telling you how you should grieve or moving you through a predetermined set of stages. It's about creating enough space to understand your experience of loss and what you need now.

There are times when an hour here and there simply doesn't give us enough space.
We finish the appointment and return immediately to the responsibilities, relationships, routines and environments we've been trying to navigate.
A private retreat creates a pause.
For four days, you have the opportunity to step outside your usual routine and give your attention to yourself.
Because this is a one-to-one retreat, we aren't following a group schedule or trying to make your experience fit someone else's process.
We work with what is present for you.
Our work may include conversation and reflection, nervous-system regulation, breathwork, meditation, energy therapy, somatic awareness, hypnosis, sound, gentle movement and time outdoors.
We may explore patterns, roles, relationships, boundaries, identity, unresolved emotions or simply what your body has been holding.
There is no predetermined emotional destination you are expected to reach.
Your retreat unfolds according to what is appropriate for you.

I'm Tina Brigitini.
For more than 25 years, I've worked with people through periods of change, loss, stress and personal transformation using an integrative approach that includes energy therapy, nervous-system work, hypnosis, meditation, somatic awareness and other complementary practices.
But grief isn't something I understand only through my work.
I've experienced profound losses and major transitions within my own life, and they've influenced both the person I am and the way I sit beside another person who is navigating loss.
I don't believe my role is to tell you how to grieve.
I walk beside you while you discover what healing means for you.

Because these retreats are deeply personal and one-to-one, I like to speak with each prospective guest before a retreat is booked.
Our discovery conversation gives us an opportunity to talk about what you're experiencing, what you're hoping for and whether this retreat feels appropriate for you.
Please reach us at brigitini@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
No.
Grief doesn't follow a timetable.
Some guests come to a retreat while a loss is still very recent. Others come because something that happened years ago has begun resurfacing or because a newer experience has brought an older loss back into their awareness.
Sometimes we don't have the space to process a loss when it happens. Life continues, responsibilities take over, and we do what we need to do to keep moving.
Your loss does not have to be recent for it to deserve your attention now.
No,
We can grieve many different kinds of losses.
The end of a relationship, changes within a marriage, retirement, caregiving, children leaving home, the loss of a role or identity, changes in our health or circumstances, or the future we once imagined can all bring grief.
Sometimes we're even grieving a version of ourselves or a period of our lives that has ended.
If something meaningful has changed or ended, grief may be part of that experience.
No.
I am not a licensed psychotherapist, and this retreat is not psychotherapy, psychiatric care, crisis care, or a substitute for medical or mental-health treatment.
My work is complementary and draws upon more than 25 years of training and experience in approaches including energy therapy, breathwork, meditation, hypnosis, somatic awareness, yoga and nervous-system-informed practices.
The retreat gives us extended private time to explore what you're experiencing through conversation, reflection and individualized practices that may support you emotionally, physically and energetically.
Yes,
In many cases, a private retreat can complement the work you're already doing with a therapist or other healthcare professional.
You do not need to stop your existing care in order to attend. In fact, I want the retreat to support—not replace—the professional care and resources that are appropriate for you.
During our discovery conversation, we'll talk about your current support and what you're hoping to receive from the retreat so we can determine whether this experience is appropriate for you.
Your hotel accommodations are included in the retreat investment and arranged for you, so finding a place to stay is one less thing you need to manage.
Retreats are offered seasonally in Massachusetts and South Florida, and your accommodations will be arranged according to the retreat location and season.
The accommodations are chosen for comfort and convenience rather than as a luxury spa or resort. The focus of your time away is the private retreat experience itself, with space between our sessions for rest, reflection and integration.
You don't have to figure that out before contacting me.
I speak personally with prospective guests before a retreat is booked. During our discovery conversation, we'll talk about what you're experiencing, what has brought you to this point and what you're hoping to receive from your time away.
We can then explore whether the Private Grief & Loss Healing Retreat is appropriate for you or whether one of my other private retreat experiences may be a better fit.
There is no expectation that you know exactly what you need before we speak.
Sometimes you simply know that something in you is ready for your attention.
Let's talk about where you are.
